"Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." —John F. Kennedy
Our Changes
In keeping with the inevitable law of change, 2013 has proven to be yet another year in which Agape has transformed to meet the ever changing needs of our clients. While we are consultants, we’re also advocates for our clients. Since our inception, it’s been our position that the Competitive Bidding Acquisition Program would ultimately have an adverse effect on the DME industry making it difficult, at best, to meet the needs of the consumer and sustain a viable business model. Just as predicted, the reimbursement rates have been reduced to levels that make a business that is heavily dependent on Medicare reimbursement unsustainable. We understand all the effort and money that our clients have put into their business so we pride ourselves, as committed partners, on helping them not only sustain, but grow, their businesses in this new environment.
To meet the needs of our clients, we have expanded our service offerings to assist our clients in this changing environment. Competitive Bidding is still the law! However, Agape has identified diversification strategies that will generate revenue from sources other than Medicare. Strategies include: adding additional payers, offering retail items and/or additional products and services, government contracting, downsizing, sub-contracting and many more.
Our Commitment
Due to problems that can be associated with growing pains, we are carefully managing our growth to ensure we are responsive to the needs of each client. We are optimistic about the future of our clients that understand change is necessary to thrive in this new healthcare market. We value our clients and we are happy to report that we have restructured our management team to ensure each client has the highest level of service by competent and effective managers.
We are committed to providing the highest level of customer service by knowledgeable, experienced and responsible managers.
